Labradoodle's were first bred in Australia in the 1970's as a way to create an allergy-friendly guide dog. Labradoodles are a cross between the Standard Poodle and Labrador Retriever. They posses—among other things—the trainability, easy temperment, and loyalty of a Labrador with the grace and shed-free coat of a Poodle. Labradoodles make truly amazing family pets.
